Chuck spent 10 years as Vice President of Operations for Douglas Battery, and dedicated 30+ years to continuous improvement in the lead acid battery business. He has always had a passion for woodworking, and in 1991 began studying the art of joinery and finishing. Over the years he has perfected the craft and has built various pieces of furniture for family and friends.
In 2010, Chuck discovered his passion for wood flooring when he had new floors installed in his house. During that time he was able to observe the crew work and became fascinated with the art and skill of flooring. In June 2013, he followed that passion and started Burkhart Wood Flooring LLC. Chuck has been heavily involved in continuing education with the National Wood Floor Association since 2013. He recently received his Craftsman degree at the NWFA Expo in May 2016. He is a NWFA certified installer, repair, sand and finisher. Chuck has been invited to work with other industry experts and NWFA certified trainers; Toby Merrill and Keith Long, on projects in Missouri and Colorado. With his love for wood and attention to detail, Chuck looks forward to bringing the WOW factor back to your home.
